One of the most popular activities during the fall month in Japan is Momiji-gari, viewing of fall leaves turning yellow and red. The peak time for Momiji-gari is November.
The above photo shows the light up of fall leaves at Eikando Temple in Kyoto. With over 3,000 trees, Eikando Temple is one of the most popular places for Momiji-gari. The reflection on the surface of the water is a breathtaking view.
The light up will open until December 4th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
